How do I generate suggested part orders?

FleetSquared can generate suggested parts purchase orders based on usage.  This allows you to replace any parts that you have used on recent repair orders.  Suggested orders can also be manually edited in case parts are discontinued by the vendor or you no longer need certain parts.  This article explains how you can generate suggested orders.
  1. Open the Parts menu and select Order Parts.

  2. Click on the Generate Orders button.

  3. A Warehouse Restock window will pop-up on your screen.  Enter a vendor name at the top, then select a date range.  Click Generate to continue.

  4. The Suggested Orders screen will list a suggested order by the vendor name.  Click on the vendor name to review the suggested restock order.

  5. A list of parts will be displayed.  On this pop-up window, you can click on the red X in the far right-hand column to remove a part from the order.  You can also edit the quantity to be ordered and the unit cost.

Click Submit / Print PO to continue with the purchase order.

  6. A purchase order screen will pop-up next.  Click here if you need to review our help document for purchase orders.

Click Submit / Print PO to submit and print the new purchase order.

  7. The purchase order will be printed on your screen.
